If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have 30 days from date of purchase to request a full refund. To qualify for a full refund, it must be returned in its original packaging and all accessories originally included with your purchase must be included with your return with the exception of the hook and loop adhesive tape pieces that were providied. The original shipping charges and any taxes paid are not refundable. You are responsible for and must prepay all shipping charges and you shall assume all risk of loss or damage to the Product while in transit.
The Backseat Baby Alarm unit (the “Unit’) is warranted by the seller against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 YEAR (the “Warranty Period”) from the date of purchase. Under this Limited Warranty, if a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period the Unit will either be repaired at no charge or exchanged for a new or refurbished Product. In the event of a defect, to the extent permitted by law, these are your sole and exclusive remedies. To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the Unit, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to 19 Highland Avenue, Fort Mitchell, Ky 41017. This warranty does not apply to a Unit that has been altered or modified nor to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, negligence, or other external causes. This Limited Warranty does not cover the cost of returning the Unit; this is your responsibility.
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BACKSEAT BABY ALARM AND/OR JOSEPH DORSEY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
