8/1/2014 - I recently installed your Backseat Baby Alarm in my family's 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe. The installation was very simplistic and smooth. All wires tucked away nicely within the vehicle's trim and components. We have had the unit installed almost three weeks now and have discovered no faults or anything that we feel needs to be modified. I feel that the alert tone is set perfect and am quite glad to report that it does not "annoy" my husband and I, and in return does not " startle" our 17 month old son. Someone may ask me "Why would you install this?" "Do you actually think you would leave your son in the car?" My answer is "No!" I would never in a million years intentionally leave my son in the car. However, I am not leaving my son's safety to my pride. I owe it to my son to step back and say hey, I don't trust myself. This alarm is the least I can do to try to prevent the unthinkable and unimaginable for my son. We buy and spoil our children with toys and senseless things that they never use , why couldn't we spend a few dollars of life-saving prevention? Parents, grandparents and caregivers should seriously consider installing the alarm.

iNVENTOR'S NOTE: After writing the above in August, 2014 Lyndsay left the comment in June, 2015 on our FB page "Still using my alarm with absolutely no problems!". To date, I have not been contacted by anyone reporting any failures of a unit. Not saying it is perfect or will not but so far apparently the units and their performance have been very robust and reliable.

I'm very pleased with the backseat baby alarm! It works well and is easy to turn off when not needed.

Anything that helps to remind a parent to look back is a Godsend to me. I am very happy with this product.

I am just so glad that someone is actually trying to come up with a solution to this, and the system works very well to remind me when I have a child in the car. My only additional suggestion would be some way of child proofing the control on the back window- my older child is able to shut it off which renders it useless.

INVENTOR'S NOTE: I contact Ms. Bell with an easy way to child proof the Sleep/Off switch which will be incorporated into all future units. She wrote back, "I did move the switch to the inside of the car door and it works fine and prevents the kids from being able to reach- thank you for the suggestion!"
